Saturday night, I was honored to receive my second Emmy® at the 54th Emmy Awards for the PSA campaign: “Cents”.  The campaign explains the education benefits available to servicemembers under the new Post 9/11 GI Bill. 

While my speech didn’t show up Kathy Griffin’s infamous one, it did touch on all the important points; mainly thanking my creative team and the men and women of the United States Armed Forces.

It was a fantastic evening of food, fun, drinks and friends.  I was also extremely lucky to have my handsome boyfriend along for the ride, which made the win even more special.

All in all, The Pentagon Channel and the Radio and Television Production Office walked away with six wins in nine categories.
